DJPC
internships are highly competitive and offer substantial experience
in the topical area. All internships are unpaid. ONLY
Colorado-based candidates please. Due to limited resources,
we cannot accommodate out-of-state or internaitonally-based
candidates.

Volunteering
with DJPC
Volunteers are the foundation of DJPC. We are always looking
for volunteers to participate in office staffing, event planning,
fundraising, public relations, newsletter publication and
website maintenance. We invite you to join us!
1) DJPC is looking
for someone to do various weekly content updates
on our website. This would require 2-3 hours per week in our
office located in downtown Denver. Hours available btw 8:30-4:30
Monday thru Friday, a regular schedule is preferred. Experience
w/ Macromedia Contribute is helpful but not required.
2) DJPC is looking
for volunteers to assist with our fundraising plan of action!
The Fundraising & Marketing committee meets approximately

Other volunteer
opportunities include:
- Office: Come into the office once or
twice a week and help out with an assigned task.
- Events: Plan events and/or help
out with set-up, clean-up, and staffing of DJPC events.
- Mailings: Help out with our newsletter
or with fund letter mailings once every couple months.
- Program: Help out with the CAMINOS
program by coming to meetings and taking on tasks or
by becoming part of a committee.
- Fundraising: Participate in our annual
work-a-thon, Build for
Peace, help with grantwriting, organizing the silent
auction, join our Fundraising/Marketing committee.
- Publicity: Help with media work,
outreach, and design brochures/flyers.
- Advocacy: Join our Advocacy Steering
Committee. Take action on DJPC Urgent Actions.
- Writing: Write articles and book or movie
reviews for our website or newsletter.
- Professional Services: Accounting,
legal, public relations, marketing, or other services on
an as-needed project basis.
